Hereford Cathedral School’s Fashion Show will be back later this month, to raise money for the school’s associate charity, the Little Princess Trust.

The October 22nd event will feature various new collections of clothes from independent shops from across the region, along with a raffle and other fundraising activities.

The fashion show is set to take place in the HCS sports hall and will start at 7pm.

Eleven Hereford Cathedral School pupils and one teacher will be having their long hair cut off during the fundraising event. Their hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

The Hereford charity, which supplies real hair wigs free of charge to children suffering with hair loss due to cancer treatment or other illnesses, was set up by Wendy Tarplee-Morris and Simon Tarplee in 2006, in memory of their daughter Hannah, a pupil at Hereford Cathedral Junior School. Hannah sadly passed away in 2005.

The fashion show has been organised by HCS lower sixth pupils, Jess S-R and Iona S-S, who would have been in the same school year as Hannah.

Monica Glass, LPT’s Charity Manager said, "We feel very privileged to be benefiting from HCS's fashion show event. How wonderful too that we will also be receiving so much donated hair as well! We really are very grateful to everyone involved and look forward to an exciting night!"

Tickets for the fashion show cost £15 and are available from reception at Hereford Cathedral School in Old Deanery or call 01432 363522 for further details.
