Today is National Poetry Day, and to celebrate, we will be tweeting the entries to our Micropoetry Competition via the Hereford Cathedral School Twitter account (@Herefordcs1).
The competition closed yesterday, and the challenge was to create a micropoem of just 140 characters. The theme for the competition was ‘school days’. There were three competition categories: Age 13 and under; Age 14-18; HCS staff and parents.
All competition entries will be available to view by searching for the #HCSpoets hashtag on Twitter.
The HCS Micropoetry Competition is to be judged by Hereford Cathedral School Head of English, Mr Abbott. The winners will be announced later this week.
